Friday,
October 26th on the Diag at Noon
Democratic
Presidential Candidate
Mike Gravel
END
THE WAR ON DRUGS NOW!
From the excessive construction of prisons to accommodate
the surge of non-violent drug offenders to the business of convicting
and incarcerating millions of people who are no threat to society, the
War on Drugs has done more damage to families and communities than any
other kind of war. It’s time to admit failure and start rebuilding lives.

Senator Gravel’s plan for
ending the War on Drugs includes the following:
• Admitting the failure of the War on
Drugs
• Officially reclassifying marijuana for medicinal purposes
• Decriminalizing the use and possession of marijuana
• Eliminating mandatory minimum sentences
• Ending incarceration of non-violent drug offenders
• Launching aggressive drug prevention programs
• Establishing drug treatment programs as alternatives to incarceration
• Making hard drugs available by prescription from a physician
Come to the Diag at Noon on
Friday, October 26 to hear Mike Gravel speak out against the drug war!
